14% Yield Funds - Too good to be true ?

Introduction. I came across an interesting post by Investment Strategist, Michael Foster. Sharing it so that you could decide if closed end funds (CEF) are for you. When it comes to Investing, I believe that there is always something new to learn and help me to grow, in the process. With that, let’s jump in. No one wants to talk about the 2020 - 2021 lockdown. Those dark days did do one thing β€œright” for the high-yield corporate-bond market: it made the so-called β€œjunk bonds” too big to fail. Investors are just starting to come around to this fact. Most important takeaway is there is a nice opportunity to grab (a) historically large, and (b) stable, dividends from these corporate-bond funds. This includes the closed-end fund (CEF) $PIMCO Dynamic Incom

I would definitely say $NVIDIA Corp(NVDA)$  since its price fell heavily to approximately 756 a few days ago and has now sky-rocketed back up to 870. It waits to be seen whether it can go back up to 900. Nvidia is still one of the stocks that has seen dramatic increase in price this year and we continue to watch out and see if it can reach new heights!

Hot stocks in market through Technical Analysis

Last week, the market started poorly and slowly recovered over the week after several positive corporate earnings especially for the mega-cap growth stocks. The major indexes showed sign of rebound and regained some upwards momentum. Well, as highlighted in the topic, I'm going to share a few high risk stocks in market. OXY  As we know, recently the oil price stays at high position. A serious escalation of tensions in the Middle East would push the price of oil above $100 a barrel and reverse the recent downward trend in global inflation. Let's look at the oil stock, OXY for example.  OXY daily chart Similar to oil price, OXY stock remains at high level and rebounds after touching EMA25, the red coloured trendline. Mirror, mirror on the wall

Mirror, mirror on the wall, who's the fairest of them all? With the likes of Nvidia, Microsoft and Google's parent Alphabet being the poster boys for artificial intelligence, $Palantir Technologies Inc.(PLTR)$ $C3.ai, Inc.(AI)$  and $Tesla Motors(TSLA)$  have been relatively overlooked for their AI initiatives. In fact, Elon Musk has touted that Tesla should not be viewed as an automaker, but rather as a digital platform with artificial intelligence set to drive its next phase of growth. The EV maker, though ELon Musk may not like it to be called as such,

Will the tech sector resume its bull run next week?

So far, the big techs have posted a mixed bag of earnings results. Although Meta Platforms' earnings have exceeded market expectations, its disappointing business outlook and accelerated spending on artificial intelligence worry investors, sending its share price plunging as high as 16% before settling at 10% fall (ouch!) at market close. Likewise, Google's parent Alphabet and Microsoft have surpassed analysts' forecasts in their earnings with the former even announcing its first ever dividend and intent to sustain the quarterly payouts. The duo rallied after their earnings releases and brough cheers to the broad market as well. The continual outsized capital expenditure in building and enhancing AI capabilities by the big techs are good news for

Beginning of an end?

$Faraday Future Intelligent Electric Inc.(FFIE)$  has just received a letter from NASDAQ indicating that the EV maker is not in compliance with the listing rule and requesting the company to submit a plan to regain compliance within 180 days, while it is being placed on a list of non-compliant NASDAQ companies. With a measly share price of mere 5 cents, the above non-compliance warning from the exchange is not unexpected. With a market capitalization of just $2.3 million, Faraday Future is highly susceptible to market manipulation, as witnessed by the daily wild fluctuations in its stock price and tug-of-war between the bulls and the bears, that are the short-squeeze speculators and fundamentalists respectively.

$Tesla Motors(TSLA)$  I’m following TSLA with interest for interests sake. Right now, I'm thinking the price will likely hit its highest point at around $174.50. Then, it's looking like the first support might be back around $160.00, based on the 1-hour MA200. It could be bumpy around 160 but it’s a key level. If it takes the full standard 0.618 Fibonacci retracement, it could dip to around $152.50 before bouncing back up. If we're talking waves, and $160 is where wave 2 bottoms out, then we might see the next wave hitting $187.35 next, followed by a retracement down at $173.68. @TigerObserver @Daily_Discussion

Google and Apple: Tech Giants Face Market Challenges

Recent developments in Japan's legislation, in line with the EU's Digital Markets Act, signal a tightening regulatory environment for these companies. Japanese Legislation and Impact: Japan's cabinet has proposed legislation that could levy major fines on tech companies like Google and Apple if they engage in anti-competitive behavior. The potential fines could reach up to 20% of their revenues, which would impact their profitability and market performance. If you believe in the company's continued innovation and growth potential, buying and holding Google stock (GOOGL, GOOG) could be a long-term strategy.
